Lost America

Here are some photographs from Troy Paiva's site Again, not really urban photography, I think I jumped the gun on declaring a theme for myself. Anyway, gotta represent the night photographs, so enjoy. Too much light painting on the site in my opinion, but I don't usually like colored light painting anyhow.

Didier Massard

I have to interrupt the just-announced urban theme to introduce some of Didier Massard's truly epic photographs of miniatures. Take a look for yourself at Great stuff.

Sleepy City

These photographs are published on by an anonymous photographer. I think this will be the first in a series of posts covering urban photography and urban exploration.

Jonathan Lewis does The Beatles

Jonathan Lewis has produced some of the best pixel-centric work I have ever seen. These are from a series he did of nearly all of The Beatles' album covers. I didn't see the white album represented though. You can check out the rest Lewis' work here. Highly recommended.

Sgt. Pepper's

Abbey Road

Magical Mystery Tour

I found this image on a Russian blog, It was also unreferenced.

If Walls Could Speak

This is a neat series of photographs entitled "If Walls Could Speak: lots of things can go on in a room". I tried to find out who the photographer was, but all the posts of this work are unreferenced. This is most of the series, but if you want to see the few that I left out, you can find them here.

Andy Bell

Andy Bell's site is full of colorful, exciting, and often abstract photography. Here are a bunch of examples of his work, including pieces from his series of reflections...

and rivets...

Roumi Photos

This seems to be a group of Canadian photographers. They're of the French Canadian variety, so I couldn't read their website to really find out what their deal was. Anyway, their images appear to be heavily photoshopped (particularly the ones in color) and are very glossy and commercial as a result. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about them, but I was intrigued enough to throw this post up, so check them out for yourself here.

This one belongs to Yujean Park.
Last but not least, Ezra Spier's.
