Wired.com just did a series of related articles focusing on air travel. This includes some images by Jeffrey Milstein of commercial airplanes taken from directly below near the end (or beginning?) of the runway. On Milstein's own site jeffreymilstein.com he displays a wider variety of aircraft, and some other non-aircraft related projects. The wired article and extended image gallery is here.
Wired also posted this sweet time-lapse representation of flights over the U.S. in a 24 hour period (brighter lines = lower altitude).

John H. Abbott - Elimination
Selections from the portfolio of John H. Abbott (not to be confused with the many other photographers named John Abbott that show up on google). His site, which can be found here features two closely related projects entitled Catharsis and Elimination. Elimination takes the subject (power lines) and actual photographs from Catharsis and reduces them to stark, high contrast designs.
I have chosen only to show these latter images because they are in all ways superior to the collection of photographs which inspired them. However, feel free to check out both collections on his site if you're interested in seeing the development.

Overload
You might remember my post featuring the overloaded train. Here's a similar photo of a truck. So, do you think they made it wherever they were going?

Grant Willing
Here are two images from Grant Willing. I have mixed feelings about his larger body of work, but like these a lot. Find more here.
Johanna Reed
Here are some gems from Johanna Reed. Check out more here. Despite only posting work from the last three years, there's plenty to look at.

Providence, RI night photographs
These photographs were shot by three different photographers based in Providence, Rhode Island. Interesting takes on the same night scene. I found them on flickr.com, the names above each image link to their individual flickr pages.
