Rebecca Leopold's digital SLR pinhole photos

Just wanted to make you all aware, if you weren't already, that you can apply the concept of pinhole photography to a digital SLR camera with great results. I found Rebecca Leopold's work through a recent i heart photograph post, which can be found in its original form here. Basically, Rebecca Leopold removed the lens from her digital SLR and replaced it with a pinhole. The following is just one example, more can be found at rebeccaleopold.com, or specifically here.

Carrie Solomon

Here are some pretty slick guitar studies by Carrie Solomon. You can find more of her work on her webpage here. She has some very cool stuff on there, my biggest complaint being the site design itself. Had the site been easier to navigate without taking so long to load I probably would have checked out more of her collection. Oh well.

Kirill Golovchenko

These are some abstract photographs from Kirill Golovchenko. I find them very refreshing. Check out more here. The particular project that these come from seems to be unique among his work, so if you want to see more of these types of images specifically, look for the project entitled "Abstrakt".

Toru Aoki

Toru Aoki has a really unique body of work. Whether he's shooting portraits, landscapes, street scenes, or objects he does so in this ghostly, blurred style. The portraits are by far the most successful, but it's certainly an intesting approach regardless of the subject matter. Check out the whole collection and get some perspective on what it might be like to live with cataracts here.

Some of them get really abstract...

Nicholas Haggard

These photographs are by Nicholas Haggard. His work is primarily portraits of hipsters in their 20s, with some taken in nature that remind me a lot of Justine Kirkland's work. I'm not in love with his work as a whole, but there are definitely some gems to be found in his portfolio. Go digging for more on his site, here.

Barry Massoni

Here are some beautiful photographs from Barry Massoni. His work primarily features abstractions of the natural world. Besides pieces like the ones below below he also has an extensive collection of macro photography. You can find more on his site naturalabstraction.com.
